Modern and contemporary art by Hungarian artists who have lived in France
The Kalman Maklary Fine Arts is specialized primarily in Hungarian-French artists of the second post-war ´École de Paris´, first and foremost such outstanding artists of Surrealism and abstraction as Judit Reigl, Simon Hantai, Francois Fiedler, Alfred Reth, Endre Rozsda, Arpad Szenes and Victor Vasarely. The gallery regularly exhibits at major international art fairs: Art Cologne, the Salon du Collectionneur in Paris, the Budapest Art Fair and the World Fine Art Fair in Moscow, BRAFA, Art Paris and Art 13-14 London. In spring 2012, the TEFAF selected the gallery as one of the world´s six most promising and significant young art dealers thus giving them the opportunity to introduce themselves in the Showcase section at TEFAF. In autumn 2012, the gallery was able to represent its artists at the Biennale des Antiquaires. Kalman Maklary Fine Arts was the first Eastern-European gallery to participate in these two important art fairs.
