The Boon Gallery, founded in 1985, specializes in 20th century masterpieces. Established in Knokke-Le Zoute since 2014, it has become one of the leading art galleries in Europe, developing its international reputation at art fairs in Amsterdam, Brussels, Hong Kong, London, Monaco, Moscow and Paris. It offers a range of high-quality artworks from Impressionist to Abstract Art. In 2016, the gallery organized the exhibition ‘Paul Gauguin and Pissarro’, and in 2017 ‘Homage to Magritte’, which marked the fifty years following the artist’s death. The directors, Jos and Dominique Boon, and their son Christophe, are members of the French Syndicat National des Antiquaires [SNA]; the Royal Belgian Chamber of Antiques and Fine Art Dealers (of which Jos Boon is vice-president) and the UK association of art and antiques dealers LAPADA. All three are also affiliated with the CINOA and are members of the Belgian Chamber of Art Experts.
