19th and early 20th century paintings and drawings
Located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, The Galerie Ary Jan specializes in French and European painting of the late 19th and early 20th century, particularly the Orientalist school and the Belle Epoque. By a very rigorous choice of paintings, the gallery established itself as one of the best European galleries of this period. Between the two centuries, new artistic movements emerged, including Impressionism which today largely obscured the academic painting of this time. The gallery defends these great and forgotten artists and wants to make them known. The gallery participated in the last three Salon du Collectionneur, in the Biennale des Antiquaires since 2012 and exhibits at the Brafa Art Fair since 2010.
