The Patrick Derom Gallery opened at the Petit Sablon in Brussels in 1986. It specializes in late 19th and 20th century European art, offering a choice of works by artists of international renown, with an emphasis on Surrealism and Symbolism. After several years of informal collaboration with the Shepherd Gallery, Patrick Derom and Shepherd´s opened a joint gallery on New York´s Upper East Side in October 1998. The gallery participates in numerous art fairs such as TEFAF in Maastricht, the Salon du Dessin, the Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris, the Brussels Antiques & Fine Arts Fair (BRAFA), the Foire de Bâle and the International Fine Art Fair in New York.
